Health Support Services
Support Services
We have available to us a team of DECD specialists. They help support in the following areas:
Child development
Special educators
Speech pathologists
Hearing impairment coordinators
Psychologists
Social workers
Behaviour support coordinators.
Should you have concerns about your child’s development,
the Director of the Centre will be able to provide you with more information so that all children’s needs are met.
Children who are identified as needing extra support can be referred to the appropriate services. This will allow them to receive the help that they need.
Children who are eligible to receive additional services will then be entitled
to extra support time whilst they attend the kindergarten. This can be through either direct access to the specialist service or to trained staff who work at the centre.
