Inclusive Preschool Program
The Inclusive Preschool Program (IPP) is a specialised program for children with significant additional needs. This program is designed to support childrens needs in a setting that allows them to access mainstream kindy with intensive support and expertise. The IPP runs with a specialised teacher and an Early Childhood Worker. The IPP runs a modified kindergarten program with a focus on inclusion with the space to provide for individual needs. Children may be referred to this program by parents, support agencies, The Department for Education (DFE) or another preschool. An intake panel considers all referrals and recommends placements on a needs basis.
